STATE PENITENTIARIES If you wish to contact the Chaplain at the following Correctional Centers, Group Homes, Juvenile Facilities, or Prisons you may use the following addresses and phone numbers. Please remember that in some cases (especially in county jails), that these men and women are volunteers who receive no compensation for their work in ministering God's Word. Some are ordained ministers; others are lay-chaplains who have answered God's call to help those who are incarcerated, but are otherwise employed full time in other occupations in order to earn a living. Thusly, they may not be available at all times to assist you, and your patience in contacting them is greatly appreciated. Cass County Jail in Fargo, ND Rev. Mr. Curtis Stegman, Bible Study Leader Mr. Stegman conducts a Bible Study class every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the jail. Red River Valley Juvenile Center in Crookston, MN The RRVJC does not currently have an appointed Chaplain; however, you may contact the following Pastor for spiritual guidance, help and prayer. Rev. Bill Humiston Richland County Correctional Center in Wahpeton, ND The Richland County Correctional Center does not currently have an appointed Chaplain; however, you may contact either of the following Pastors for spiritual guidance, help and prayer. Rev. Terry Wilson Rev. Russell Doebler Traill County Jail in Hillsboro, ND The Traill County Jail does not have an assigned Chaplain. Generally, the Correctional Officers will contact the Pastor or Priest at your Loved One's preferred local church, when they are requested to do so, and ask them to visit. Clergy people are generally allowed contact visits 24 hours a day. The Traill County Jail may be reached at: (701) 636-4510 Valley-Lake Boy's Home, Inc. in Breckenridge, MN The Valley-Lake Boy's Home does not currently have an appointed Chaplain, however you may contact the following individual to arrange a visit for your child, and for spiritual guidance and prayer. Mr. Wayne Pratt Mr. Pratt teaches a Bible Study course in the Valley-Lake Boy's Home every Thursday evening. Walsh County Corrections in Grafton, ND Mr. Tom Campbell Tom Campbell leads a non-denominational Bible Study every Monday evening at 7:00 PM. Wilkin County Corrections in Breckenridge, MN Wilkin County does not have a correctional center--their inmates are detained in other counties if they are to be held for longer than 16 hours. Please check the listing for the Richland County Correctional Center in Wahpeton,ND; as inmates from Wilkin County are frequently incarcerated there.
